Parent Teacher Conference
On Monday, February 6th, North Laurel High School will be having Parent-Teacher Conference from 4:30-6:30 pm. Teachers will be available to talk to parents about their child's grades on that night. Representatives from Somerset Community College, Union College, Eastern Kentucky University, and The University of the Cumberlands will be available in the library to speak to parents and students.  See you then!
Attention Seniors!
Keith Ritchie will be here on Thursday, January 26 from noon until 3 pm in the conference room at NLHS.  He will be available to help you complete your FAFSA or to answer any questions you may have regarding KEES money or financial aid.

 

Attention Class of 2017!
We have a new yearbook feature that allows you to have more choice for your pictures that will be used in the yearbook.
 
For the first time ever, each senior will be able to select BOTH poses that will be published in the yearbook.

College Application Week
College Application Week will be Monday, October 24th – Friday, October 28th.  College admission representatives will be here to present in a classroom setting, information about their college or university and to answer any questions students may have.  Students are allowed to sign up for four sessions but they must sign up at least the day prior to the session. 
 
Assistance With Filling Out The FAFSA
Keith Ritchie from KHEAA will be here tomorrow, Tuesday, October 18 from 2 pm to 7 pm to help seniors and their parents complete the FAFSA and to answer any questions they may have about financial aid.  Seniors, if you haven’t completed the FAFSA, bring your tax forms and stop by tomorrow night for help!

NLHS SBDM Parent Elections

Elections for parent representatives of the NLHS School-Based Decision Making Council will be held on May 4th from 7:30am - 3:30pm and May 5th from 12:00pm - 5:00pm in the North Laurel High School Main Entrance.  All parents are invited and encouraged to stop in and vote.

Youth Leadership Summit

The 2016 Youth Summit was held  September 8th, at the EKU Campus in Manchester.  The Youth Summit provided youth engagement and leadership development activities. The summit also  helps  students create a  network and supports youth leaders from across Kentucky to foster their civic engagement, community service , and helps students develop their leadership skills. North Laurel High School had several participants in the event they are (from left to right) : Megan Green, Thomas Callahan , Micah Holcomb, Jaden Johnson, and North Middle participant Adam Rockwell.
