Hello. My name is Tammi Chandler and I hope you find my web page very informative.  I received my Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) from Western Kentucky University and my Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) from Eastern Kentucky University.  I began my teaching career 28 years ago with a 3 year position in the Laurel County Head Start Program before I had the opportunity to teach in my chosen field of visual arts.  After my 3 year time in head start I began a 17 year tenure teaching visual arts at what was then called South Laurel Junior High.   I continued on there as it changed it's name to South Laurel Middle School.  Eight years ago I was given the opportunity to accept the art position at South Laurel High School where I hope to finish my teaching career.  I currently teach Visual Arts I, II, III, IV, Studio Art and AP Studio Art.
