Young Scientists

Science in motion- Sublimity students from Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Lawson’s second grade classrooms were engaged in an afternoon of science labs, brought by Deb House from Somerset Community College. Students created volcanoes, as well as a variety of other labs.

 


If I were an elf...

Mrs. Flynn’s Kindergarten class has been practicing handwriting skills. The students completed a writing prompt about elves. The writing prompt was titled “If I were an elf, I would…” Students also illustrated pictures to support their writing.


Ranked 17th in the State

Sublimity ranked 17th in the state of Kentucky due to the 2013-2014 state assessment results and 2nd in the state in science.  Congratulations to students, parents, faculty, and staff for this great achievement!
