Red Ribbon Week Red Ribbon Week

Johnson Elementary will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week during October 24th-28th.  Different activities have been planned for each day.  Show your support and pledge to be DRUG FREE.

Monday--Red Ribbon Kick Off Day....Wear Something Red.
Tuesday--Team Up Against Drugs Day....Wear Your Johnson Eagles T-Shirt.
Wednesday--Drugs and Bullies Make Our Hair Stand On End Day--Fix Your Hair Crazy.
Thursday--I Can Make Good Choices Day....Bring A Nonperishable Food Item To Be Donated To The Community Food Pantry.
Friday--Dress Like Your Favorite Book Character Day....Bring The Book With You.  

Celebration of Imagination

Johnson Elementary is happy to bring back a long time tradition of, "Celebration of Imagination."  As a way of sharing your favorite book character, and helping others become interested in reading more, students are incouraged to dress up as their favorite book character on Friday, October 28th.

Here are the guidelines that must be followed:
You must come to school dressed as your favorite character.
You may not have a mask or toy weapon.
You must bring a book that goes along with the character you have chosen.
You will tell your class a short summary of the book and why you chose this character.

Johnson Elementary PTO Dinner, Carnival and Basket Auction Dinner and Basket Auction

Join us for a night of fun on Saturday, October 29th beginning at 5:30 P.M. as we will be having our annual dinner and basket auction as well as carnival games.  We will have hot dogs, chili, walking tacos, nachos, cotton candy, funnel cakes and candy apples that will be availible to purchase.  After dinner, spend time at our different booths and browse around and look at our baskets that will be available to purchase.  This is an event that the whole family can enjoy.


The Johnson Elementary Site Based Decision Making Council meets every second Thursday of each month at 4:00 P.M.
