2015-16 ILP PARENT SURVEY

NLMS Parents/Guardians:

We would like to request that as your student completes the ILP, that you take this short survey.  Students complete their ILP while in their keyboarding, advanced computers, or practical living class.  However, the do activities with the ILP all year.  Teachers use the student responses on the ILP to design lessons and activities based on student career and college interests.  This link is a survey that ALL parents should take concerning student use of the ILP (Individual Learning Plan).  All Kentucky students update their ILP yearly starting in the 6th grade.  The ILP is a useful tool for college and career planning.  It has links to colleges, careers, and scholarships.  The ILP helps students by using  interest inventories, resume builders, and many other tools to help a Kentucky student and their families for future planning.  All parents can have access to their students ILP by asking their student to send them a link or by contacting Shannon Ball at North Laurel Middle School.
