Come celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday!  Family Reading night will be on Tuesday February 27th from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Camp Ground Lunchroom/Computer Lab.  Activities include:

To celebrate Read Across America Week and the birthday of Dr. Seuss, students will have the opportunity to dress up each day, but please no face painting.  

Monday February 26th- Hat Day- Wear your favorite hat

Tuesday February 27th- Crazy Sock Day- Wear your crazy socks

Wednesday February 28th- Career Day- Dress as what you want to be when you grow up.

Thursday March 1st- Pajama Day- Wear your pajamas to school.

Friday March 2nd- Favorite Character Day- Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss Character.

Book Potato Decorating Contest potato

We will be having a Book Character Potato Decorating Contest during Read Across America Week.  Students can decorate a potato like a character from one of their favorite books.  Please be sure to put your name somewhere on your potato.  Potatoes can be brought in beginning on Monday February 26th and the last day to bring them in is Thursday March 1st.  Students will vote on their favorite Book Potato on Friday March 2nd. 

The top 3 potatoes will receive the following award:

1st Place- $15.00 Book Fair Certificate

2nd Place- $10.00 Book Fair Certificate

3rd Place- $5.00 Book Fair Certificate

The PAWS for Books bookfair will be at our school Wednesday March 7th-Friday March 9th.  Can't wait to see you there!!

Breakfast with Grandparents breakfast

Attention All Grandparent's!!  Come enjoy breakfast with your grandchild!!  Thursday March 8th and Friday March 9th from 7:30 am- 8:30 am.  Cost is $2.25.  You will also have an opportunity to visit the Bookfair with your grandchild.  The schedule for Breakfast with Grandparent's is below.  Please enter through the cafeteria doors.

Thursday March 8th: Kindergarten-2nd Grade

Friday March 9th: 3rd Grade-5th Grade

Parent/Teacher Conference school

Parent/Teacher Conference will be on Thursday March 8th from 4:10 pm-6:50 pm.  A note will be sent home to let you know when you can start making appointments with your child's teacher.  You will have until Friday March 2nd to make your appointment.  No appointments will be made after this date.  The book fair will also be open during this time.
