Students with Perfect Attendance for the year got a chance to dunk their teachers in the Dunk Tank. Come One Come All to the Best School of All!  High Attendance day at Camp Ground! First grade asking Mr Wells questions about his job. Students enjoy an ice cream party as a reward for completing the summer reading program. Walmart donates $500 to Camp Ground! Red Ribbon Week, October 24-28 Red ribbon week

Red Ribbon Week is October 24-28.  The following activities will take place during this week.

Monday- Students will be given red bracelets to wear all week.

Tuesday- Show school spirit by wearing Camp Ground Tshirts

Wednesday- Wear Mix matched clothes and crazy hairstyles

Thursday- Bring in a can of nonperishable food or paper good to share with the food pantry.

Friday- Dress in your Halloween costume (costumes must be school appropriate, no masks, weapons or anything that would distract from learning.)

Fall Celebration Dance fall dance

The PTO is hosting a Fall Celebration Dance on Friday October 28th from 3:00-5:00 pm.   Students are welcome to wear costumes.  Admission is $3.00.  Please return permission slip and money by Wednesday October 26th. Pickups will begin at 5:00 pm at the side cafeteria door.  Students will be responsible for keeping their concession money.

Camp Ground Kindness- Operation Christmas Child

Camp Ground 2nd graders have been learning about Kindness in their reading class and have decided to partner with Samaritan's Purse and collect items to send to children in need across the world at Christmas.  Our school goal as a school is to fill 100 boxes.  Below is a list of items that can be brought in to help fill the boxes.  Please join us as we work to help make a child's Christmas special.  Thank you in advance for your help in making this possible.

All items need to be unopened and left in packaging.

August 22-26: toothbrush and toothpaste

August 29- September 2: soap and washcloth

September 6-9: comb or brush and hair clips

September 12-16: pencils and pencil sharpeners

September 19-22: crayons or coloring pencils and small coloring books

September 26-30: small notepads and small picture books

October 3-7: toys (dolls, cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yop's, jump ropes, balls, etc.)

October 10-14: socks and sunglasses

October 17-19: child size forks and plates

October 24-28: chapstik and band-aids

October 31-November 4: solar watches and solar calculators

November 7-11: toys (dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yo's, jump ropes, ball, etc.)
