Breakfast with Grandparents

Attention All Grandparent's!!  Come enjoy breakfast with your grandchild!!  Thursday October 6th and Friday October 7th from 7:45 am- 8:30 am.  Cost is $2.25.  You will also have an opportunity to visit the Bookfair with your grandchild.  The schedule for Breakfast with Grandparent's is below.  Please enter through the cafeteria doors.

The GREAT Pumpkin Show

We are planning our annual book character Pumpkin Show.  This family project is always a smashing success and we are ready to see what you can come up with this year.  Students may bring in a pumpkin decorated like their favorite book or book character.  Pumpkins may be dropped off at the library ONLY from October 10-14.  There will be 4 categories this year, PreK-1, 2-3, 4-5, and Family.  There will be 1 winner from each category.  Click on the link below to see the official rules and the entry form that must be filled out and brought in, along with the book your pumpkin is representing.

Box Tops

It's Box Tops Competition Time!!  Turn in your box tops to your teacher from September 1st-October 14th.  The class with the most box tops will receive a Fall Celebration Party!  All box tops earn money for our school.  Happy Clipping!  

Camp Ground Kindness- Operation Christmas Child

Camp Ground 2nd graders have been learning about Kindness in their reading class and have decided to partner with Samaritan's Purse and collect items to send to children in need across the world at Christmas.  Our school goal as a school is to fill 100 boxes.  Below is a list of items that can be brought in to help fill the boxes.  Please join us as we work to help make a child's Christmas special.  Thank you in advance for your help in making this possible.

All items need to be unopened and left in packaging.

August 22-26: toothbrush and toothpaste

August 29- September 2: soap and washcloth

September 6-9: comb or brush and hair clips

September 12-16: pencils and pencil sharpeners

September 19-22: crayons or coloring pencils and small coloring books

September 26-30: small notepads and small picture books

October 3-7: toys (dolls, cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yop's, jump ropes, balls, etc.)

October 10-14: socks and sunglasses

October 17-19: child size forks and plates

October 24-28: chapstik and band-aids

October 31-November 4: solar watches and solar calculators

November 7-11: toys (dolls, toy cars, stuffed animals, kazoos, harmonicas, yo-yo's, jump ropes, ball, etc.)
