Summer reading is so important so students don't experience the "summer slide" when skills they have developed all year become rusty... not to mention, it's FUN!!
Below are links to several online resources to help you keep a book in your kid's hands!
Read books online at www.wegivebooks.org for free. A parent can sign up for a free account and get started reading today!
Go to https://www.getepic.com/app/ and sign up for an ebook service tailored to your child's age. This is also a free resource!
Our local public library is a FANTASTIC resource for summer reading! There are thousands of ebooks to download and read for free on your laptop, tablet or phone! Go to http://www.laurellibrary.org/collection/newebooks/ and find a book to read today... all you will need is your library card number. Most passwords are 1234 unless you have changed them previously! Call the public library if you need further assistance!
