Hello! Welcome to  my 4th grade class at the greatest school on Earth, LONDON ELEMENTARY!! 

A Little about me!

My name is MacKenzie Champlin! I was born and raised in Laurel County. I graduated from EKU in 2013 and worked as a substitute teacher and a reading tutor in our school system. This is my seventeenths year teaching at London and my second year in 4th grade. In my spare time I love to spend time with my husband, my son, and family.

HCI Information for the 2020-2021 SCHOOL YEAR

PLANNING PERIOD: 11:00-11:40 am.  If you need to speak to me directly, call or email me during this time.  I will be back in touch with you within 24 hours. 

HOME CORRESPONDENCE INSTRUCTION: IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Students are expected to be ONLINE in the virtual classroom daily, following the above class schedule.  Students will participate in class instruction which will be through Google Meet.  The link to Google Meet will be posted in your student's Google Classroom. 
  • Attendance will be taken through online class participation during the day.  If for some reason your child is unable to attend the LIVE online instruction, a recorded video of the lesson will be posted in Google Classroom by the end of the school day for your child to watch and complete the day's lesson.
  • Students are expected to participate in class discussions through video instruction.  They are encouraged to speak up and speak directly with the class, or they may post a question or comment in the chatbox during the Google Meet.
  • Students will receive feedback and guidance verbally during the LIVE instruction on Google Meet, through posted instructions/directions in the Google Classroom site, and/or email.  Due dates for assignments will always be posted with the assignment.  Once an assignment is turned in and graded, feedback along with a grade will be communicated to the student.  Grades will also be posted on Infinite Campus.
