Principal's Message

To all past & present Cardinals: Welcome to the South Laurel High School webpage!

We have had a great start to the 2019-2020 school year! I am very proud of the efforts that our students and staff have put in this fall. Not only have our students experienced success in the classroom but also in extracurricular activities such as academic, athletic, band and choral competitions.

September 17th High Attendance Day!

Attendance HERO

Tuesday, September 17th, has been designated state-wide as “High Attendance Day” for Kentucky schools.  This day highlights the importance of regular school attendance and the correlation between attendance and student performance.  Students who attend class regularly are more likely to keep up with their daily lessons, assignments, and academic achievement.

Let’s strive for 100% attendance on Tuesday, September 17thth and everyday!
