Congratulations to the SLMS Academic Team for winning the Governor's Cup District 65 championship. The quick recall team finished in second place and the following students placed in the top five in written assessment:
Jamie Buenaventura - 1st place in Arts & Humanitites and 3rd place in Composition
Waylon Deaton - 1st place in Social Studies and 2nd place in Science
Kali Samples - 1st place in Composition and 2nd place in Language Arts
Nikki Shah - 1st place in Language Arts
Josh Collins - 3rd place in Arts & Humanities
Kobe Petro - 3rd place in Science and 4th place in Math
Kadence Whitaker - 3rd place in Language Arts & 4th place in Arts & Humanities
Taitum Harris - 5th place in Science
Jacob Parman - 5th place in Math
Will Wagers - 5th place in Social Studies
An extra shoutout goes to Nikki Shah whose Language Arts score placed her in the top ten scores across the entire state!
