Principal's Message

As a former Bush Blue Devil (1986-1992), Bush Elementary always has and always will hold a special place in my heart. My family has a long history with Bush dating all the way back to my grandfather who graduated from Bush High School. Most of my family members, including my husband, father in-law, mother, two sisters, six aunts, four uncles and numerous cousins attended Bush spanning the past 80+ years. Read Across America Week Read Across America

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday, Bush will celebrate Read Across America Week beginning on Monday, March 1st until Friday, March 5th.  We would love for our students to help us join in the celebration by participating in the following daily themes:

Monday, March 1st: Green Eggs and Ham/Wear your Grinchiest Green Day

Tuesday, March 2nd: Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!!! Nerd Day/I LOVE to Read Day

Wednesday, March 3rd: The Cat in the Hat Day/Hat Day

Thursday, March 4th: Oh the Places You'll Go/Favorite College Shirt Day

Friday, March 5th: Curl Up and Read/Pajama Day
