Coding club: Carter Sizemore built a lego robot that he can control through computer code. Fifth graders share their essays on veterans. Colony students sing on Veterans Day. Thank you to all Veterans. These first-graders were the first to make it into Ms. Alsip's shoe-tying club. Colony PTO hosted a family fun night where families could paint pumpkins, attend story times, and shop the book fair. Fifth graders at a book tasting in library class. Kindergarteners painted their own wockets after reading Dr. Seuss's book. Healthy Selfies in Ms. Alsip's P.E. Class Ms. House's class read The Man in the Red Bandana for Patriot Day, then decorated red bandanas and wrote about the traits of a hero. They signed a copy of the book and gave it to the Colony Fire Dept. to show their gratitude. Orange Day in Ms. Eversole's class Ms. Meadows's first graders learn about science by exploring nature. Art Outdoors KFC grants 3rd graders ready to learn Colony students enjoyed the sunshine and working on their shapes! 5th graders studied math, geography, science, and economics in order to create their own store and business plan. 5th graders researched the role bridges around the world have played in history and built replicas of historical bridges.
