Hello, I'm Charlotte Jones and I teach fourth grade at Colony Elementary.  This is my 26th year as a teacher.  I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.  I have also served as a Reading Specialist and a Curriculum Coach for the Laurel County School System.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from E.K.U, my Master's Degree in Reading Specialist from Union College and my Rank I in Educational Leadership from E.K.U.

I teach reading to all fourth graders and Social Studies, Language, and Writing to my homeroom.I love teaching and getting to know my students. I also try to make learning fun and interesting.

Fourth Grade Rocks!!

This start to this new school year may not be as traditional as years before, but hopefully we will see a more normal school year soon.  In the mean time, for those students doing HCI from home, here is our instructional schedule.  Times may vary slightly.
