The Ky. Department of Education requires that we receive parent authorization/signature before we can deliver meals.
• However, the parent/guardian may send an email to the school principal to provide authorization. The email authorization should be written as follows: “This household requests meals be delivered from the Laurel County Public Schools. Parent/Guardian name”
• Or, the Parent/Guardian may stop by the school to provide written permission.
*NOTIFY PARENT: If student is not dropped off at home by the bus, then parents must meet the bus at the location the bus regularly stops (Bus stop).
The deliveries will begin Monday afternoon.
ALL families that need food delivery STILL HAVE to CALL LES or COME BY LES in order for us to complete the delivery.
EVEN IF they send their authorization by email.
There is information we require from them in addition to the authorization. They can call and give us that information or come by.
Either way, we require a call or visit and authorization via email or in person.
These are additional supplemental websites. Students can access these for fun learning and practice. Students have logins for some sites. They should know them. Otherwise, most are offering free accounts with signups. Please note that it is imperative to monitor internet usage. These sites are commonly used and tested. However, we are not responsible for things that may "pop up." It is a good idea to check your internet/carrier settings/parental controls.
