COMP CARE COUNSELOR, TRACY BOWLING
My name is Tracy G. Bowling. My occupation is a Child/Family Interventionist with Cumberland River Behavioral Health. I've worked with the agency for 19 years. My job focuses on helping children who are suffering from some form of mental illness. While the symptoms often present differently, child therapy deals with many of the same mental health issues as its adult counterpart- depression, grief, abuse, anger issues, chemical dependency and anxiety are all common conditions for children to experience. I create an open, accepting, and friendly environment for each child to explore his or her emotional issues and use a variety of counseling techniques to help them deal/cope with their problems. I collaborate and maintain professional relationships with parents, school staff, and referral sources. I ensure accuracy, content, and completeness of each child's life. Don't hesitate to reach out if you see a child in need.
