This class is the capstone for the Cinematography/Video Production Pathway of Media Arts @ The CFI. In this class students will use Project Based Learning (PBL) to develop skills as a director, on-screen talent, and producer for videos. Students will also finish working towards Adobe Certifed Associate certification in Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects.
HCI Week 6 is now available on Schoology and in paper packet form at the CFI. Packets may be picked up between 8 am and 3 pm Monday through Friday. This week's assignment is due on May 8th.
All work is due to Mr. Smith by May 15th. If you have questions about missing assignments, please email me or message me on Remind 101.
HCI Week 5 will run from April 27 through May 1. Students will have a daily assignment on Schoology or via paper packet. All work is due on Friday, May 1st. The suggested order of working on assignments is:

Students needing to drop off or pick up paper packets may do so at the CFI From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Packets for week 6 and 7 for Media Arts are now available.
HCI Week 4 will be April 20th-24th. Students can complete their work online via Schoology or by picking up a paper packet at the CFI on April 20th between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Here are the due dates for Week 4 of HCI.

HCI Week 3 will be April 13th-April 17th. For those participating through Paper Packets, they are available at the CFI from 8-3 p.m. daily. For those completing work online, those assignments are now available on Schoology for you to review and begin.

Paper packets for week 2 may be turned in on April 10th and 13th at the CFI from 8 AM to 3 PM.
HCI Week 2 will be April 6-10th. During this week students are expected to log onto Schoology and complete assignments for their class. Each assignment is designed to take around 30-45 minutes to complete. If your student does not have internet access you may pick up a paper packet at the CFI on March 27th from 10 am to 3 pm or April 6th from 8 am to 3 pm.

This week's packet may be dropped off in a box in front of the CFI on Friday, March 27 from 8 to 3 or on April 6 from 8 to 3. There will be a box with folders and markers in front of the school, please put all your work in the folders and clearly label it with your name. Label your folder and drop it in the box.

You can do these assignments on Schoology or find a hard copy inside your HCI Folder at the CFI. Those folders may be picked up between 8 and 3 at the CFI on March 18, 19, and 20.
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well and that everyone is making it through these difficult times okay. Your work for next week's HCI is now available on Schoology. Please go to https://www.schoology.com/ and login as normal. You'll find the HCI folder on the top of the materials page. You'll find two articles to ready next week and questions for each day based on the articles. Please answer the questions on Schoology, or answer them in a Word or Google Doc and email them to me. We also are sending out paper copies later this week for students preferring to work that way.
