Laurel County Public Schools are excited to announce the return of the Missoula Children’s Theater!
During the week of June 10 - June 15, 2024, the Missoula Children’s Theater will be in London, hosting a residency with Laurel County students.
Students entering first grade through 12th grade, are invited to audition for Pinocchio. The performances will be on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, at the SLHS Auditorium.
Auditions will be held Monday, June 10, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the SLHS Auditorium. No prepared materials are required. Students auditioning should be prepared to arrive by 4:00 pm and stay the entire time. Students selected to be in the cast will be notified at the end of the audition and then will stay to begin rehearsals at 6:15 pm. Rehearsal will last until 8:15 pm. Students will rehearse Tuesday-Thursday and will have two performances, Friday, June 14, at 7:00 pm and a matinee performance on Saturday, June 15, at 2:00 pm. All rehearsal materials and costumes are provided, there is no cost to any participant.
This show has room for up to 60 young actors of all ages. It is a fantastic introduction to theater and to find out if stage acting is something a student may be interested in doing. It is also a great way to gain experience!
