Laurel County Public Schools is saddened to report the unexpected passing of Colony Elementary student Jace Messer.
The Laurel County School family mourns this tragic loss. Jace is remembered as a kind and sweet student who loved rainbows. We send our deepest, heartfelt condolences and prayers to Jace’s family, friends, and teachers.
The district Crisis Response Team continues to be available at Colony Elementary to meet with and support students and staff during this difficult time.
