Mrs. Doughty's Preschool class at Camp Ground Elementary recently completed their Apple Unit. Students learned about non-standard measurement and used apples to measure their own height. They also painted with apples to create their own apple trees. They used their five senses to taste-test apples and then graph the one they liked the best. To conclude the apple unit, students erupted apple volcanoes and made Johnny Appleseed hats.
