Congratulations to the academic team for winning the District 44 Governor’s Cup this weekend.  The quick recall team finished as tournament champions and the FPS team finished as district runners-up.  Both will advance to next month’s regional Governor’s Cup.  Congratulations to the following students who placed in the top five in content assessment and will move on to regionals next month:

Jaxson Allen - 1st place in social studies

Rayley Greer - 1st place in language arts and 2nd place in arts & humanities

Harper Hoskins - 1st place in arts & humanities

Tate Jenkins - 2nd place in science and 4th place in social studies

Isaac McGehee - 2nd place in language arts

Jacob Morgan - 2nd place in math and 4th place in science

Zaiden Swiderek - 3rd place in science and 3rd place in social studies

Eliana Gregory - 3rd place in language arts and 4th place in arts & humanities

Rylee Conley - 5th place in math

Extra congratulations to Jaxson Allen whose social studies score was the second-highest in the state and to Harper Hoskins whose arts & humanities score was fourth-highest in the state.
