Congratulations to the SLMS Governor's Cup Team for winning the Region 11 Governor's Cup Championship last weekend. The quick recall team were tournament champions and will advance to next month's state finals in Louisville. The following team members advanced to the state finals in content assessment:
Jaxson Allen - 1st place in social studies
Isaac McGehee - 1st place in language arts
Rayley Greer - 2nd place in language arts and 2nd place in arts & humanities
Jacob Morgan - 3rd place in math and 6th place in science
Zaiden Swiderek - 3rd place in social studies and 5th place in science
Tate Jenkins - 4th place in science and 5th place in social studies
Eliana Gregory - 3rd place in language arts
Harper Hoskins - 4th place in arts & humanities
Extra congratulations goes to Jaxson Allen who had the highest social studies score in the state and to Isaac McGehee whose score was the 10th highest in the state!
