The SLMS 7th and 8th Grade band traveled to Somerset on Tuesday, March 17th to perform at the KMEA State Concert Band Assessment, where they earned a Distinguished rating! The SLMS Band received a distinguished rating from all 4 judges, including in sight-reading, where students are handed a piece of music and play it on the spot! Congratulations!
